The summer JCommerce’s JDeveloper Academy ended on August 31. For 2 months, the attendees under the supervision of our mentors have been creating dedicated solutions in Java.

The recruitment to the JCommerce JDeveloper Academy started in June, and the classes were held from July 1 to August 31. During the summer internships, adepts of coding under the supervision of Marcin Chrost and Łukasz Migdałek of JCommerce learned how to write clean code, design applications and write tests, all based on adopted patterns and with use of the latest technologies.

This edition of the academy was different from the previous due to the pandemic, and thus – participants did not have the opportunity to meet most of JCommerce’s employees and fully enjoy the atmosphere in the office. We are glad, however, that despite the unusual situation, we have managed to conduct the academy that, although the summer one by name, did not have much in common with the holidays.

As participants admit: the pace was intense and the mentors were “Demanding and supportive at the same time”. They emphasize that the program met their expectations. The end of the summer holidays does not mean the end of our initiatives! In the autumn, we are reopening the recruitment to the JTester Academy. We invite you to follow our profiles on Facebook and LinkedIn, where we will keep you updated.
