The cost of Business Intelligence system implementation depends on many factors. First of all it depends on a range of the whole process (content-related area, number of users, number of data sources and level of their integration ect.) and tool selection (producer/way of license). To optimize costs, apart from implementation company, own human-resources may be considered. IT and business stuff can prepare reports.
The majority of BI systems do not offer demo version due to the inmensity of the whole solution. These systems are made in response to the needs of companies in which they are implemented.
Their demos are availables very rarely, with some exceptions in case of some tools. If the potentional provider is not convinced of software capability, Proof of Concept (PoC) preparation can be considered. PoC is intended for tools demo preparation and business problem solution based on data segment. PoC can be also a starting point to prepare complete BI system implementation.
Staff training is most often included in the entire implementation process. Their cost is a component of the whole valuation of implementation work and arise from previous analysis. Obviously it is possible to organize independed implementation training. Its cost depends on the range, scripts delivered, number of participants and training days.
