New JCommerce headquarters and the new “Enterprise Mobility Management” servic
JCommerce has opened its new headquarters in the Katowice Business Point office building at 3 Ks. Piotra Ściegiennego St., next to Silesia City Center.
The decision to relocate our HQ was mainly due to the dynamic development of the company, forcing JCommerce to look for additional premises in the center of Katowice. Employees have 500 m2 of modern office space at their disposal, designed by Czajkowski Kuźniak Architects of Katowice.
"JCommerce continued its rapid development of previous years in 2018. The third quarter closed with a 39% increase in revenues and a 16% increase in employee headcount compared to the same period of the previous year. This has allowed us to invest, not only in our new HQ but above all in the development of competences and expanding the range of services we offer. Hence the decision to launch the Enterprise Mobility Management service, which complements the company's comprehensive range of advanced business IT systems," said Piotr Zyguła, CEO of JCommerce.
The Enterprise Mobility Management service, which JCommerce will be one of only a very few companies in Poland to provide, offers full support in terms of the implementation and management of Apple devices and applications for business purposes. It gives users the possibility of connecting many different systems to manage devices, identity, applications or virtualization in order to create a single digital workplace. The new team of macOS specialists has experience in implementing Apple devices in global corporations, in sectors such as banking, insurance, multimedia, and news agencies. In Poland, it is still a niche service, yet is increasingly necessary due to the growing number of Apple devices used by companies nowadays.
The new headquarters will also house the JCommerce Innovation Center for Industry, Research & Development, recognized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in the category of best investment in modern technologies in 2017.
The relocation of JCommerce headquarters does not mean the end of our existing offices at 227 Tadeusza Kościuszki St. The previous headquarters now becomes the second Katowice office, meaning that JCommerce employees now have over 2000 m2 of office space at their disposal in the heart of Silesia. The new headquarters will accommodate the abovementioned Enterprise Mobility Management department, as well as teams which undertake projects for the company's key foreign clients.
New specialists are being sought for both the new and existing JCommerce offices in Katowice, mainly Java programmers, .Net, PHP, Front-End, and FullStack developers, DevOps specialists, as well as Business Intelligence and ERP system consultants, software testers and business analysts.
The expansion of our office space is proof of the company's commitment to the development of the modern IT services industry in Katowice. JCommerce is an active member of ABSL Poland, a nationwide organization of companies from the modern business services sector, in which the company represents the Silesian IT services sector. Investing in Katowice offers enormous potential, as evidenced by the capital of the Silesian agglomeration's sixth place in the "Growth Clusters" category in the latest CBRE "EMEA Tech Cities" ranking, which identifies the largest technological clusters in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
