Polish programmer wins Distributed Code Jam 2018!
Mateusz Radecki (Radewoosh) won this year's edition of the Distributed Code Jam programming competition organized by Google, defeating competitors from around the world.
In the final of Distributed Code Jam 2018, which took place on August 9 in Toronto, Canada, the winner was Mateusz Radecki (Radewoosh), a student at the University of Warsaw, Poland. The final of the competition was also special because of the huge Polish squad – five participants came from Poland, the largest representation from among the group of 19 finalists.
Our programmers have proved once again that they deserve the title of the best programmers in the world. Besides Mateusz, the podium featured another Pole nicknamed ‘tczajka’, who took third place.
Code Jam is an annual Google competition that gathers programmers from around the world to test their skills by solving rounds of algorithmic tasks. The Internet rounds end with an international grand final.
