JCommerce as co-organizer of the Katowice Business Run
As of May 25th will begin the registration for this year's edition of the charity run of the Katowice Business Run, scheduled for September 3.
The purpose of this year's run edition, which is a part of the Poland Business Run, is to help with the purchase of prosthetics and other orthopedic supplies and to finance rehabilitation and psychological counseling for people after amputations.
This year, the participants of the relay run in Katowice will run for the second time for Janusz Rokicki, an athlete and a paralympian who has won three medals in a shot put at the Olympics Games in Athens, London and Rio de Janeiro. To be able to realize his dreams and goals, Mr. Janusz needs two professional prostheses to enable smooth functioning in everyday life and sports. The second beneficiary of the Katowice Business Run is Sebastian Idziak, who lost his leg in an accident at the Wujek mine. His goal now is to begin an adventure with a bodybuilding and combat sports. Just to do so, he needs the help to buy the professional prosthesis that will enable him to develop passion and achieve his plans.
The ambassadors of this year's busieness run, has became Julia Kamińska, Barbara Kurdej-Szatan, Rafał Sonik, Mateusz Kusznierewicz, Antoni Królikowski, Mateusz Janicki and Aleksandra Doba. The event is co-organized by JCommerce, which has been involved in the organization and support of such sporting events as Silesia Marathon and Silesiaman Triathlon for several years.
